Summer 2022 is in full swing & we're already reaching record breaking temperatures in early June! This means you'll need to take added precautions when placing an order for chocolate, compound coatings and any other products that may melt during transit.
Here are a few tips to help you beat the summer heat when you place an order this summer:
1. ADD THERMAL PANEL COLD PACKAGING TO YOUR ORDER
We always recommend adding our Thermal Packaging Cold Packs to your order to help insulate your order during transit but this is more important than ever in warm summer months. You'll need to add approximately one (1) cold pack per 50lbs of chocolate to properly protect your order.
2. CHOOSE A QUICK SHIPPING METHOD
Selecting in a faster shipping method is an investment in your order. Once a package leaves our facility in Western, Pennsylvania, we are unable to control how long it takes to arrive to you. Choosing a faster shipping method through one of our trusted carriers can help speed things along. The less time your package is in transit, the less likely something can happen to it.
3. ORDER WHEN YOU KNOW YOU WILL BE HOME
Your package should be brought indoors immediately upon arrival, so plan accordingly by only placing orders when you know you will be home to receive them. Keep a close eye on your tracking number. If you won't be home when the package is expected to arrive, we recommend shipping it somewhere else where someone can accept it for you, like to a relative or your work address. Do NOT leave your order outside.
